Over the first three weeks of November, the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia announced the winners across the 30 categories that comprise the 2020 CBAA Community Radio Awards. The awards celebrate community broadcasting excellence and recognise the accomplishments of community radio services and the people behind them. 

And amongst the winners recognised was MAINfm! MAINfm was awarded the OUTSTANDING SMALL STATION award for our excellent programming, commitment to our community, volunteers, sponsors and listeners, and for our ongoing hard work in developing and improving the station. 

MAINfm were also awarded the BEST FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN: SMALL STATION for our ‘Here Comes The Sun’ Radiothon, held in June this year. Congratulations to everyone involved – this is an award for the entire MAINfm community. Read more about the awards here
