Do you know your way around the workings of a studio?&nbsp; We are appointing a new Technical Coordinator and our Committee of Management (CoM) invite you to come forward. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technical Coordinator &#8211; Responsibilities<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>approx time commitment 2-5&nbsp; hours \/week with support from staff and the technical sub-committee.&nbsp; Reporting to and in consultation with the Station Manager (SM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oversee the administration and maintenance of MainFM\u2019s IT, hardware and software infrastructure and systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advise SM &amp; CoM on technical systems upgrades, repairs and maintenance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain station asset register.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit brief monthly report to CoM on tech repairs and maintenance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Convene with the Tech Committee on a regular basis to coordinate sharing of responsibilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist SM in devising tech future proofing strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist to coordinate Outside Broadcasts&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s important to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be able to troubleshoot technical issues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with presenters, staff, volunteers and the committee of management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have an understanding of and commitment to the philosophy and objectives of MainFM and community radio&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This&nbsp; role is vital to the station and you will have the support of the station manager, staff , CoM and volunteers.&nbsp; If interested please email Station Manager Steph Riddel on <a href=\"mailto:manager@mainfm.net\">manager@mainfm.net<\/a>&nbsp; with answers to the following questions, and we\u2019ll line up a chat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Name:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phone Number:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please tell us a little about your past experience that is relevant to this role:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please tell us why this position is attractive to you:<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>13\/09\/2023 Expression of Interest &#8211; SHOUT OUT for a new team player!
