Tenzin is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, activist and cultural ambassador and one of a handful of artists keeping Tibet\u2019s music alive in the freedom of exile. Escaping Tibet as a child and now a world-renowned performer, Tenzin has an intriguing back story. He was also featured on an episode of ABC Foreign Correspondent several years ago.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a program of music and spoken word, Tenzin brings Tibetan music firmly into the contemporary world, all the while strongly holding the essence of ancient Tibetan wisdom.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tenzin will be performing at the Newham Mechanics Institute on Saturday November 11th<\/sup> as part of his Be the Ocean concert tour.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n
