I’m a big fan of the station and I heard you’re recruiting volunteers. I wondered if you’re interested in having a language trivia spot on a suitable program? I’m a\u00a0 professor of forensic linguistics living in Chewton and I’ve done a lot of radio interviews on language, linguistics and crime, but I can also talk about word origins, curious language facts, accents, slang and how conversations work.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My friend and colleague Prof Kate Burridge does a similar spot on 3RRR Breakfasters.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I promise not to be boring and I’d be happy to take questions from listeners.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
