But finding fresh ways to tell climate stories &#8211; and make them interesting to audiences of all ages across different platforms isn&#8217;t always easy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;re looking for ideas as we head towards the next&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/unfccc.int\/cop29\" target=\"_blank\">UN Climate Change Conference<\/a>&nbsp;in November, this webinar is for you. She hosted the first ABC climate podcast,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/listen\/programs\/whos-gonna-save-us\" target=\"_blank\">Who&#8217;s Gonna Save Us?<\/a>, which won a 2023 Covering Climate Now award. She also hosted the ABC&#8217;s environmental history podcast,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/listen\/programs\/dig\/introducing-saving-the-franklin-river-v2\/102214812\" target=\"_blank\">Saving the Franklin<\/a>, and was the Melbourne reporter for triple j&#8217;s current affairs show, Hack.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/liammannix\/\" target=\"_blank\">Liam<\/a><\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/liammannix\/\" target=\"_blank\">&nbsp;Mannix<\/a>&nbsp;is the National Science Reporter for the&nbsp;<em>Sydney Morning Herald&nbsp;<\/em>and&nbsp;<em>The Age.&nbsp;<\/em>He recently completed &#8216;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/constructiveinstitute.org\/climate-explorers\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Climate Explorers<\/a>&#8216;,&nbsp;a 5-month program at the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/constructiveinstitute\/\" target=\"_blank\">Constructive Institute<\/a>&nbsp;at Aarhus University,&nbsp;which brought together journalists from around the world to explore new ways of covering climate change that&nbsp;resonate with audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><\/strong><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/andrew-mccormick-680413133\/\" target=\"_blank\">Andrew McCormick<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;is deputy director of&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/coveringclimatenow.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Covering Climate Now<\/a>, a global journalism collaboration dedicated to strengthening climate change reporting, which he helped launch in 2019. Andrew&#8217;s work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Columbia Journalism Review, and the South China Morning Post, among other outlets.
