Show: Parallel Islands, Sundays 5-7pm
I joined MainFM in 2014 thanks to Doc Henry (aka Steve Charman)
Before that I had been a musician since 1985 and that’s ongoing. Performance artist since 2001 and I have a performance planned when I return to full fitness. My paid job is a Disability Support Worker.
My show is Parallel Islands. It’s all over the shop in musical journeys. 9 years old. Fun.
Coming from Melbourne and not having many friends here in Mt Alexander, doing my show at MainFM has helped me make friends. I have had great feedback from so many people makes me happy that my show makes others happy.
Doc Henry’s open tuning is what I like about music shows eclectic, inspiring. Hayley wests Dead air is constantly interesting. I like sensorium and that is a great source of musical journeys from a monolith of a presenter.
To me, ‘community radio’ means inclusiveness.
Stand out memories include lots of interviews. Guests and live to air on my show.
I have my own mixcloud account where I post shows a week after air date. Sometimes I promote on Facebook.
My parting message is to live long and prosper.

I love Open Tuning too.
Nawwww thanks Julian! I remember the first time I met you at the Res and realised you were the Julian from Parallel Islands I was so excited! I’ve been your fan grrrl for years x
