Our Mega Garage Sale is shaping up! To make this a breadwinner for the station, we are asking our volunteers to bring donated goods to be sold a the garage sale. Books, records, CDs, clothes, furniture (as long as it’s not too big & bulky), art, bric-a-brac, electronics, plants, tools etc.
Please only decent things – anything leftover we’ll be donating to the op shops around town.
Our preference is for you to bring your wares to the Garage Sale from 2pm onwards, otherwise you can drop your donated items off at the station in advance (we’ll keep them in the storeroom).
We’re calling out for vollie helpers:
2 x set-up helpers from 3pm-4pm (helping to lug anything from the station down to Mechanics Lane, setting up trestle tables, blankets, clothes racks etc)
2 x merch/check out stand 4pm-6pm, 6pm-8pm
DJs & OB announcers 4pm-6pm, 6pm-8pm
2 x pack down helpers 8pm-9pm (helping to pack anything left over into a trailer)

It should be a fun night – Battle of the Bands winner ‘Fryer’ will be playing live, the Shedshaker Bar will be set up and we’ll bring our billy cart down for the kids to have a muck around.
Hi, can we promote this widely and ask people outside of the presenter pool to donate to the garage sale – to drop off at 2pm on the day? Or are you not wanting a flood of random goods?!?
