There’s a new tune from Naarm’s beloved disco doo-wop rockers Sugar Fed Leopards! ‘Need You Now’ which provides all the signature SFL trademarks; jangly guitar, sleazy saxophone, banging three-part harmonies and a bumping rhythm section.
It’s a funky Bee Gee-esque slice of rural Australia in crisis mode, inspired by the 1934 floods of Harrietville – a picturesque country town in Victoria and released Wednesday 22nd November.
The band will be launching the single on Friday 24th November at Theatre Royal, Castlemaine with Moody Beaches, and then at Shotkickers with Pink Tiles on the Saturday 25th November.
