Dear MainFM Volunteers,
It is with much pleasure and excitement that we announce that Melissa Scott is stepping into the role as our new Programming Manager! Please join me in welcoming Melissa 
Melissa brings years of experience and knowledge to the role, we are so lucky to have her! She has been consistently on air with MainFM since 2015. First with Hello Darling for 5 years, then since 2020 with the award winning Girls On Air with Jan Palethorpe (Mondays at 4pm), a brief stint with Oh Oh Oh Seven, and currently also Crash Landing ( Mondays at 5pm) Melissa has also been serving as a much valued member of the programming committee since 2020.
As Programming Manager, Melissa will be working with the programming committee, in tandem with myself, Alex, Sue, Martin and Steve, and all our volunteers, to manage the grid and publish our monthly program guide. It is a huge contribution to the shape of our overall sound and we so appreciate Melissa taking it on. Let’s also take this opportunity to thank Rich Moffat for his time in the role, and also Suzanne Donsithorpe prior to Rich, both have contributed greatly to the growth and development of MainFM’s culture and sound. It’s chock full of information and is an excellent reference resource for you. You can find it on The Hub ( link below) in print form at the station, but I’ve also attached it here too.
