The Programming Committee is seeking a new Presenter to join us!
What do we do?
We coordinate the Mainfm grid, listen to all the new shows that have been
prerecorded and provide feedback. Our aim is for a diverse and interesting Mainfm
grid that reflects the community in which we all live.
We meet every two months via zoom for about half an hour and are having a
planning session for 2026 in late January.
Issues we are discussing now include: the possibility of instigating a graveyard shift
into the grid; a buddy system for new presenters; the use of WhatsApp as a
communication tool to fill vacant slots/absenteeism – to this end we recently updated
the Presenters’ Handbook; and the preservation of the live n local archives.
