White logo = Fellow Presenter

Green logo = Support & Feedback person, ie a staff member or volunteer with specialised knowledge and skills who may be sending live technical feedback about how you’re sounding

Yellow logo = a ‘Frequent Texter Club’ member – a non-presenter & massive MainFM fan and complete legend

Nice. Great idea. The things we didn’t even know we needed are happening ATM.

I’m guilty of not putting my name on texts. I’ll remember to type it in, in future.

Hey Alex – this is really useful! It’s great to have technical errors fixed and get constructive feedback when you’re live, like the examples given. But I think if you’re texting in it’s worth considering the person receiving it and the tone, particularly if it’s to a person you don’t know or who is new to presenting. Also, maybe consider if what you are sending is constructive feedback or just pointing out a mistake? And is it something that needs to be addressed while the person is live? Sometimes mistakes are from nerves, and getting, blunt real time feedback doesn’t necessarily help with that.
