Tenzin is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, activist and cultural ambassador and one of a handful of artists keeping Tibet’s music alive in the freedom of exile. Escaping Tibet as a child and now a world-renowned performer, Tenzin has an intriguing back story. He was also featured on an episode of ABC Foreign Correspondent several years ago.
In a program of music and spoken word, Tenzin brings Tibetan music firmly into the contemporary world, all the while strongly holding the essence of ancient Tibetan wisdom.
Tenzin will be performing at the Newham Mechanics Institute on Saturday November 11th as part of his Be the Ocean concert tour.
