Now in its second year, Radio Picnic is a day dedicated to gathering to celebrate our own and others’ volunteers.
Most of the fun, very valuable, life-improving, enriching stuff, and stuff that keeps us connected and safe as a community, happens thanks to volunteers. There are at least 70 volunteer reliant organisations, clubs and initiatives operating around us. MainFM is, of course, a brilliant example of this!
This is a special day’s programming from 9-5, consisting of unique one-off shows presented by paired up presenters and shows. It’s a fantastic mixed bag radio celebration happening right there in the community at Western Reserve.
Come along and spend a little time with us. We hope you’ll swing past, take in the market, listen live to the day’s shows, meet, chat, hang, pat a dog or 3. It’s pure and simple fun in the name of acknowledging all the goodness volunteers help provide us all – YOU INCLUDED!
