A CMTO intro course to learn about how the station can operate during an emergency and serve the community better.
The course will cover;
- Auditing existing emergency broadcast assets and resources
- Engaging and activating station and emergency networks
- Planning, preparing, delivering and auditing an emergency broadcast
It will provide a better understanding of how emergencies are managed by various state and local government departments and agencies, and the role MainFM can play as a community broadcaster during times of disaster. We will discuss our capacity during emergencies, and how we get the best information out to our listeners. It’s important work and I’m sure it will be a rewarding experience where you will learn alot.
The Course is offered to you for Free, and Lunch will be provided.
