We reached out to the Vic Music Awards organisers to see if there might be roles for MainFM volunteers during the awards ceremony.
Well, there are! But we have to move quick.

After winners have been announced during the ceremony, they will then go to a media wall where a couple of us are offered access to be able to meet them and capture their reactions to winning! Think friendly hellos, congratulations, some shared joy and a quick question or two on the mic. Sounds like a GREAT opportunity to get close to the music industry and gain some super valuable experience.
Vic Music will be recording these interactions on mobile to upload during the ceremony with the artists being tagged to encourage content sharing.
