THE SCRABBLE BATTLE #2 – An ‘I Am Someone’ Fundraiser

Calling all word nerds, Scrabble lovers and fans of all things oversized to join us the Dept. of Alphabology for another amazing evening of Giant Scrabble as part of the Castlemaine Fringe Festival, in Castlemaine – the Scrabble Capital of The World!   

Envision a projected scrabble board of over 25 square meters and 100 plus scrabble pieces big enough to eat your dinner off. Then envision crowds cheering as you and your team scores 1,778 points for nailing OXYPHENBUTAZONE (an obsolete anti-inflammatory medication and Scrabbles highest possible score).  Glory!! Power!! Controversy!!  A GIANT TROPHY for to fight your team mates over for the rest of eternity!!!!

Get your team of 1-4 together, give yourselves a name, practice

Arrive on time! This is a FIRST IN BEST DRESSED situation for playing on the HUGE projected Scrabble battle board (thanks Jim and Jimmy!) and Funk out to funky tunes thanks to Djakamara Jones while you drink drinks and eat pizzas and cheer on your mates!

This event is a fundraiser for www.iamsomeone.org.au an amazing local organisation who provide education and opportunites to children in Africa, check out their website and their 18th birthday exhibition (5 Flags merchants, Campbells Creek) and know every dollar is a dollar well spent.
