In this interactive presentation & workshop, Craig Schuftan shows you how to create themes, stings, IDs & other audio elements that will make your show sound fantastic. While working at triple j in the early 2000’s, Craig created hundreds of signature sounds for iconic shows like Jay & the Doctor, Hack, Today Today (The Chaser), This Sporting Life, & Top Shelf with Robbie Buck. His approach has always been very DIY – focusing on good ideas, great music choices & original voices rather than expensive gear & flashy sound effects. A veteran of community radio himself, & a big fan of independent broadcasting, Craig wants to show you how creative sound design can expand your expressive palette as a presenter, & make your listeners feel transported & delighted when they tune in to your show.
