Ali T is a lover of rock n roll. She spent many years living, loving and breathing the live music culture in Melbourne, before heading up the Calder to call Castlemaine her home. Castlemaine is the (Ali T proclaimed) live music capital of regional Victoria and an exciting place to be for a rock n roll lover.
Shamefully, Ali T listened to awful pop music before hearing Nirvana’s Smell’s Like Teen Spirit when she was 12. At that moment something was awoken inside her and it has thrived and pulsated ever since. Her favourite songs are 2 minute garage rock songs that have an infectious beat, busy bass line, and fuzzy riffs.
Between 5 and 7pm on Fridays, Ali T can be found dancing around the MAINfm studio as she delivers Shake Appeal live on the radio.
