Description:
Given the scare we had last year with the flood, we’re looking at running a short course in Emergency Preparedness. The course will cover everything from planning and preparing to producing a broadcast in the case of an emergency. A one day course over 6 hours presented by the CMTO ( Community Media Training Organisation)
Scouting for any interested parties at this stage, with delivery most likely in November.
This course covers:
- Understanding emergency broadcasting
- Planning for Emergency Broadcasts
- Understanding Emergency agencies and critical information
- Understanding how to prepare content before, during and after emergencies
