Over here at HQ we’ve decided to do things a little differently this year in terms of how we celebrate. So rather than hosting The Rogies, we are instead throwing a big ol’ end of year MainFM Wrap Year and everyone’s invited. We are still in the process of locking in a venue, but are looking at either Nov 18th or Nov 25th, family friendly with food and a bar.
So why say goodbye to The Rogies? We’ve loved The Rogies, it’s been such good fun. But we’re growing! We now have sooo many shows on the grid, it doesn’t quite seem right to single out a handful, when everyone is so very deserving of praise and accolades. So instead, it’s a celebration of ALL our volunteers and the station as a whole. We want to extend the invite to the broader community and really want to make it family friendly, so are looking at an earlier start (like 5pm) with things for the kids like games ( maybe a jumping castle?) and ice cream.
