Queer and Now strives to amplify the broad range of voices, perspectives and stories that make up the Central Victorian LGBTIQ+ community, and to keep you, the listener, informed of LGBTIQ+ news and current events happening locally, nationally and internationally.
Everyone is welcome here.
Peppered throughout is, of course, music. Queer and Now proudly spins tracks by the Queer community, for the Queer community or claimed by the Queer community; the old, the new, the zeitgeist, the obscure and everything in between.
Together, Sherene and Amalie, along with mainFM and the generosity of many others, have produced two seasons of Pride Across the Ages, a podcast in which each episode invites listeners into the life and stories of members of the LGBTIQ+ community from around Central Victoria. Pride Across the Ages is a supremely important archival project and Sherene and Amalie are so proud to have worked with mainFM to bring it to life.
