Mary Macintyre has been thinking about food for as long as she can remember. She has been cooking professionally for over 20 years with a formal education in culinary and pastry arts.
She has worked in fine dining restaurants, at a culinary school, led food projects at non profits and owned her own cafe in Canada for 7 years.
She now lives on 5 acres in Faraday where she and her husband grow food for themselves and their own micro business, Superhero.
Mary is interested in the ways in which food, culture and community intersect and is passionate about food equity and sustainability.
Most importantly Mary is always seeking out delicious food and figuring out why it is so delicious, who is making it so delicious and asking them how they do it!
